Yogyakarta Bromo Ijen Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Yogyakarta arrival and Prambanan Tour

  • Arrival at the morning at New Yogyakarta Airport, pick up and the transfer to Prambanan temple the biggest Hindu temple located 17km from Yogyakarta City, say overnight at Yogyakarta

Day 2 Borobudur Temple Tour and transfer to Bromo

  • 06.00 Early morning: leaving hotel to Borobudur temple, the biggest Buddhist temple, exploring the level by level until the top, and transfer to Yogyakarta train station.
  • 11.45, take the train to Surabaya. 
  • 15.45 Arrival at Surabaya Pick and transfer to Bromo; stay overnight. 

Day 3 Bromo Sunrise tour and transfer to Banyuwangi

  • 03.00 AM morning call
  • 03.30 AM by Jeep 4×4 to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and panoramic view at Mt. Penanjakan (2700 m)
  • 06.00 Then proceed to Mt. Bromo crater through the sea of sand the climb up 250 steps to the rim of Bromo Crater
  • 08.00 back to hotel for breakfast & taking a bath in hotel.
  • 09.00 or later you will be transferred to Banyuwangi.

Day 4 Ijen Tour and then transfer to your hotel Bali

  • 02.00 – leaving hotel in Banyuwangi to Ijen Crater,
  • 03.30 – take a entrances tickets and Start to trek from Paltuding the gate of Ijen Cater, if you don’t want to trek you my rent a cart powered by local people
  • 05.00 – arrive at rim of ijen crater, if if weather permits visitors could visit closer the sulfur mines and the enjoy sunrise
  • 07.00 – after sunrise, visitors could watch clearly huge acid water lake , and the going back to to start point, where visitors meet the sulfur porters
