The Tour begins in Surabaya, continuing toward Mount Bromo via Cemoro Lawang Village in Probolinggo. After enjoying the spectacle, climb the 250 steps to the crater rim for closer views before returning to the hotel for breakfast.
On the following day, the tour proceeds to Bondowoso, the nearest city to Ijen Crater. From there, embark on a 3.5 km trek to the crater rim to experience the extraordinary blue fire phenomenon and admire the stunning scenery of the largest acidic lake on Earth, before heading back to Surabaya.

Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 01Pick up at Surabaya and Transfer to Bromo

  • Upon your arrival at Surabaya airport, we will be there to greet you and take you to your hotel in Cemoro Lawang Village, if the weather is nice and time allows we can make a stop at the beautiful Madakaripura waterfall along the way. You’ll enjoy an overnight stay at a cozy local hotel

Day 02: Bromo Sunrise Tour and Transfer to Bondowoso

  • 03.30: Afterwards, take a Jeep 4×4 to get to higher peaks to enjoy the sunrise at 2600 meters above sea level and watch the panoramic views of Bromo and Semeru. 
  • 07.00: passing through the Sand Sea to a slope where we climb up 250 steps into the rim the crater. There we’ll see (if the weather permits) the fantastic view of the Tengger Plateau.
  • 09.00: going back to Hotel in Cemoro Lawang village to have breakfast
  • 10.00 Leaving hotel hotel and transfer to hotel in Bondowoso

Day 03: Ijen Tour and Return to Surabaya

  • 00.30: Leave from hotel to Ijen Crater
  • 02.00: Meet the local tour guide and start to climb up to the rim of Ijen Crater and watch a panoramic view. Ijen crater is 1 km in diameter and 175 meters deep. The floor is covered completely by a warm lake, milky blue-green in color. 
  • 0330: Arrive at location where you can enjoy blue fire and sunrise.
  • 06.00: Trekking down the mountain, rejoining the coach and directly driving to Surabaya.
  • 14.00.: Arrive at Surabaya
